Terms of Service

Welcome to Lanorx! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lanorx web‑based platform, which is a no-code landing page builder that allows you to create, publish, and manage landing pages without writing code. By creating an account or using Lanorx in any way, you agree to abide by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Lanorx service.

We've written these Terms in plain language to be as clear as possible. Still, this is a legal agreement between you (the user) and Lanorx (the service provider). Please read it carefully. It covers permissible uses of the service, our responsibilities, your responsibilities, limitations of liability, and other important information.

A. Accounts and Eligibility

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use Lanorx. If you are under 18 but at least 13, you may use Lanorx only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. (Lanorx is not intended for very young users.) By using our service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and are fully able to enter into this agreement.
  • Account Registration: To access most features, you need to create an account with a valid email address and a secure password. You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration, and to keep it updated (for example, if you change your email).
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials (your password, and any authentication tokens). Do not share your password with anyone. You are also responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or a security breach, you must notify us immediately at grw05428@gmail.com. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your account information, as per the limitations stated in this agreement.
  • One Account per Person: We ask that you register only one account per person. You agree not to misrepresent your identity or create multiple accounts for the same individual without authorization.

B. Acceptable Use of Lanorx

We want Lanorx to be a helpful and safe tool for everyone. By using Lanorx, you agree to use it only for its intended purpose (creating and managing landing pages) and in a lawful, respectful manner. Specifically, you agree that you will NOT do any of the following:

  • No Illegal Activities: Do not use Lanorx to violate any law or regulation. This includes not using the service to engage in fraud, hacking, harassment, stalking, or any other criminal or civilly actionable behavior.
  • No Harmful or Offensive Content: Do not create landing pages that contain illegal, offensive, defamatory, obscene, or harmful content. This includes content that promotes violence, hate speech, discrimination, or illegal activities. Do not use Lanorx to create phishing pages, scam sites, or pages that infringe on others' intellectual property rights.
  • No Spam or Unsolicited Emails: Do not use Lanorx's email collection feature to spam people or send unsolicited commercial emails. You are responsible for complying with anti-spam laws (such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR) when collecting and using email addresses.
  • No Security Attacks: You must not attempt to bypass or undermine the security protections of Lanorx. This means you will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the system, other accounts, or data that isn't yours. Likewise, you agree not to introduce any malicious software—no viruses, worms, malware, or any other code intended to disrupt or damage the operation of Lanorx or other users' devices.
  • No Service Disruption: Do not attempt to interfere with the proper working of Lanorx. For example, you should not launch any form of denial‑of‑service (DoS) attack, overload the service with unreasonable requests, or use automated scripts in a way that burdens our infrastructure.
  • Respect Intellectual Property: Do not use Lanorx to store or share content that you don't have the rights to use. Also, do not violate our intellectual property. All code and infrastructure that make up Lanorx are owned by us (or our licensors). You agree not to copy, reverse‑engineer, or distribute our software or content without authorization.
  • No Reselling or Service Bureau: While you can create landing pages for your own projects or clients, you should not resell Lanorx itself or operate a service bureau using our platform without permission. If you want to offer Lanorx-based services at scale, please contact us to discuss partnership opportunities.

If you aren't sure whether something you plan to do might violate these rules, please ask us. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes abuse or misuse of Lanorx. Violation of the above rules may result in suspension or termination of your account, as described later in these Terms.

C. Service Plans and Payments

Lanorx offers different service plans with varying features and limits:

  • Free Plan: Limited to 1 project, 100 emails per month, and basic features. No credit card required.
  • Pro Plan: Up to 10 projects, 1,000 emails per month, custom domains, subdomains, and advanced analytics.
  • Enterprise Plan: Unlimited projects, unlimited emails, priority support, and API access.

Subscription and Billing

  • Subscription Fees: Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection). By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fee.
  • Payment Processing: We use Paddle as our payment processor. Payment information is collected and processed securely by Paddle according to their terms and privacy policy. We do not store your credit card details.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current rate for your plan.
  • Cancellation and Refunds: You can cancel your subscription at any time. For details on cancellation process and our 14-day refund policy, please see our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to change our pricing. If we change the price of your plan, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance, and the new price will apply starting with your next billing cycle. You can cancel before the new price takes effect if you don't agree with the change.

Plan Limits and Overages

  • Project Limits: If you exceed the project limit for your plan, you will not be able to create new projects until you upgrade or delete existing projects.
  • Email Collection Limits: Monthly email collection limits reset at the beginning of each calendar month. If you reach your limit mid-month, email submissions on your landing pages will be disabled until the next month or until you upgrade to a higher plan.
  • Fair Use: Even on unlimited plans, we expect reasonable use of resources. Excessive use that impacts service performance for other users may be subject to review and potential limits.

D. Service Availability and Changes

Lanorx is an evolving service—we are continually improving it and adding new features. While we strive to keep Lanorx up and running smoothly, we do not guarantee 100% uptime or availability. You acknowledge that the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, technical issues, or other reasons. We will try to schedule downtime strategically and inform you in advance when possible, but we are not liable if the service is unavailable at any given time.

Modification of Service: We reserve the right to add, remove, or modify features of Lanorx at any time. We might launch new tools, change how existing features work, or discontinue parts of the service. We may do this without prior notice to you in some cases, though we'll try to communicate major changes. Any new feature that we add will also be subject to these Terms.

Beta Features: We may offer beta or experimental features from time to time. These features are provided "as is" and may not work as expected. We may remove or change beta features at any time without notice.

Termination or Suspension of Service: We also reserve the right to suspend or completely discontinue the Lanorx service (in whole or in part) at any time. In a worst‑case scenario (like we decide to shut down the platform), we will attempt to notify users at least 30 days in advance and provide a way to export your data. However, such changes could potentially happen without notice if necessary (e.g., due to legal requirements or force majeure). You agree that Lanorx will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.

E. User Content and Data

Your Content

  • Ownership: You retain ownership of any content or data you create or upload to Lanorx. For example, the text, images, designs, and configurations of your landing pages remain yours. We do not claim any ownership over your intellectual property.
  • License to Lanorx: However, by using Lanorx and storing data on our platform, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display that data as needed to operate the service. This means, for instance, that our system may copy your data for backup purposes, display it to you within the app, cache it for performance, or send it to you when you request it. We will never publicly share your private content without your consent.
  • Published Landing Pages: When you publish a landing page, you make it publicly accessible on the internet (via your chosen URL). You are responsible for the content you publish and ensuring you have the right to make it public.

Collected Emails

  • Data Controller Relationship: When visitors submit emails on your landing pages, you are the data controller and we (Lanorx) are the data processor. This means you are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR) when collecting and using these emails.
  • Your Responsibilities: You must:
    • Have a lawful basis for collecting emails (e.g., consent, legitimate interest)
    • Provide a privacy policy on your landing pages explaining how you use collected emails
    • Respect users' rights (such as the right to deletion or opt-out)
    • Comply with anti-spam laws when sending emails to collected addresses
  • Our Role: We provide tools to collect, store, and export emails on your behalf. We will process this data according to your instructions and our Privacy Policy.

Prohibited Content

You agree not to store, publish, or transmit via Lanorx any content that:

  • Is illegal, fraudulent, or violates others' rights
  • Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or excessively violent
  • Promotes discrimination, hate speech, or harassment
  • Infringes intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, etc.)
  • Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Violates privacy or data protection laws

We do not actively monitor all user content, but we reserve the right to review content if needed (for example, if we receive a complaint or have reason to suspect a violation of these Terms). We may remove or restrict access to any content that we determine violates these Terms or applicable law.

F. Intellectual Property

Lanorx's IP

All intellectual property rights in the Lanorx platform, including our software, designs, logos, trademarks, and content, are owned by Lanorx or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property without our written permission.

Your IP

We respect your intellectual property rights. If you believe that content on Lanorx infringes your copyright or other rights, please contact us with details of the alleged infringement, and we will investigate.

License to Use Lanorx

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Lanorx for your personal or business use. This license does not include the right to:

  • Resell or redistribute Lanorx
  • Reverse engineer or decompile our software
  • Remove or modify any proprietary notices
  • Use Lanorx in a way that competes with our business

G. Disclaimers of Warranty

We want to set the right expectations: Lanorx is provided "as is" and "as available." While we will do our best to provide a great service, there are some important disclaimers:

  • No Warranty: Lanorx, to the fullest extent permitted by law, disclaims all warranties of any kind—whether express, implied, or statutory—regarding the service. This includes implied warranties of merchantability (fitness for ordinary use), fitness for a particular purpose (fitness for your specific needs), title, and non‑infringement. We make no promises that the service will meet all of your requirements or expectations.
  • Reliability and Accuracy: We do not guarantee that Lanorx will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error‑free. We also do not guarantee that any data or results you obtain from using the service will be accurate or reliable for your purposes. For example, analytics data may have delays or inaccuracies. You use any information from the service at your own discretion.
  • Software Bugs: You acknowledge that software is never completely error‑free. While we strive to fix bugs quickly, we make no warranty that any errors or defects will be corrected immediately or that the service will be free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • No Liability for Data Loss: You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own data. We perform backups, but we do not warrant that your data will never be lost or corrupted. Any material or data downloaded or otherwise obtained through Lanorx is accessed at your own risk; you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from use of the service.
  • Third-Party Services: Lanorx integrates with third-party services (such as Google Analytics, Paddle). We are not responsible for the performance or availability of these third-party services.

H. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lanorx and its team will not be liable for any damages that arise out of or relate to your use of (or inability to use) the service. This limitation applies to all types of damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary.

Lanorx will not be liable for:

  • Loss of Data or Content: We are not responsible for any loss of your data or content. Always keep backups of important information.
  • Loss of Profits or Opportunities: If your use of Lanorx (or inability to use it during downtime) causes you to miss opportunities, lose revenue, or incur costs, we are not liable for those losses.
  • Indirect or Consequential Damages: This includes damages for interruption of business, loss of business reputation or goodwill, or any other intangible losses.
  • Events Beyond Our Control: We aren't liable for problems outside of our control, like failures of the internet, natural disasters, legal changes that impact our service, third-party service outages, etc.
  • User-Generated Content: We are not liable for content created or published by users of Lanorx. You are responsible for your own content and any consequences of publishing it.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, some of these limitations may not apply to you. However, in such cases, our liability will be limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.

If, notwithstanding the above, we are found liable to you for any damage or loss arising out of your use of Lanorx, our total cumulative liability will not exceed the amount that you paid to us for the service in the 6 months prior to the event giving rise to the liability, or one hundred US dollars (USD $100), whichever is less. (If you have paid nothing, we assume no monetary liability.)

I. Termination of Use

  • By You: You are free to stop using Lanorx at any time. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by using the account deletion feature in your account settings or by contacting us at grw05428@gmail.com with a request to delete your account. Termination is effective once we process your request and confirm deletion of your account data (subject to our data‑retention policy in the Privacy Policy).
  • By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason (or for no specific reason), with or without notice. In particular, if we believe that you have violated these Terms, misused the service, published illegal or harmful content, or pose any risk to Lanorx or other users, we may disable or terminate your access. In most cases of minor violations, we will attempt to warn you first, but for serious violations or unlawful behavior, your access may be terminated immediately.

If we terminate your account due to a breach of these Terms, you may not create a new Lanorx account without our permission.

Upon termination by either party, all rights granted to you in these Terms will cease. You must cease any use of Lanorx, and we may delete your data (though we may retain certain information as required by law or as outlined in the Privacy Policy). Your published landing pages will become inaccessible. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers of warranty, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive.

J. Changes to These Terms

Lanorx is a growing service, and we may update these Terms from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or business practices. If we make material changes, we will notify users by email (to the address associated with your account) or by posting a prominent notice on our website at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The updated Terms will have a "last updated" date at the top.

By continuing to use Lanorx after any changes to the Terms take effect, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you should stop using the service and, if applicable, delete your account before the changes take effect. You may be entitled to a pro-rated refund if you cancel due to material changes that negatively affect your rights.

We encourage you to periodically review these Terms to stay informed about your rights and obligations when using Lanorx.

K. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Korea, without regard to its conflict of law principles. This means that the laws of South Korea will apply to any issues or disputes relating to these Terms or your use of Lanorx, even if you are using the service from outside South Korea.

If any dispute or claim arises out of or in connection with Lanorx or these Terms, we hope to resolve it amicably through discussion. You agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the issue informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally within 30 days, then, subject to applicable laws, the courts of South Korea shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement or your use of the service. By using Lanorx, you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

If you are a consumer in a country with mandatory consumer‑protection laws, nothing in this section affects your rights under those laws (you may have the right to bring claims in your local jurisdiction under certain conditions).

L. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and Lanorx regarding the service, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings (whether written or oral) relating to your use of Lanorx.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of the Terms will remain in full effect.
  • No Waiver: If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms, it does not mean we waive our right to do so later. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Lanorx.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else without our prior written consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another party in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law or otherwise. In such case, we will notify you, and the terms of this agreement will continue to apply to your relationship with the new entity.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
  • Headings: The section titles in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
  • Language: These Terms are written in English. Any translations are provided for convenience only. In case of conflicts between versions, the English version prevails.
